AWS Devops Engineer

Exp: 7-10 yrs

Location: Bangalore

1) Knowledge in some of the following products/ tools: Kubernetes, Ansible, Docker, Nexus, Artifactory, GitHub, Jenkins, Maven, Jira/Confluence, Splunk, Elasticsearch, etc..

2) Knowledge with Cloud platforms: building and deploying cloud solutions (AWS preferred) using Terraform.

3) Familiar with programming languages and concepts like Java, Python, Go, XML, JSON.

4) Able to design efficient, simple, reliable and secured architecture.

5) Open-minded team player with good communication skills who is always curious to learn and improve.

6) Hold a degree in informatics or bring a comparable qualification and have a proven track record as a DevOps engineer.

7) Ready to work in a 24/7 shift rotation.

Responsibilities

• H24/7 Support: Experience on application support and maintenance, bug fixes, L2 & L3 support for Infrastructure.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaaC): You will create and manage the infrastructure required for the platform using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible to ensure consistency and reproducibility
• Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): You will set up CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, testing, and deployment of APIs, integrations flows, and event components
• Configuration Management: You will manage configurations for different services and components, ensuring consistency and version control
• Monitoring and Logging: You will implement monitoring solutions (e.g.Prometheus, Grafana) and centralized logging (e.g. Splunk) to proactively detect issues and troubleshoot problems
• Security and Compliance: You will implement security best practices, managing access control, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Backup and Recovery: You will implement backup and disaster recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and system availability
• Containerization and Orchestration: You will use containerization tools like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes to manage and deploy microservices
• Incident Response and Troubleshooting: You will rapidly respond to incidents, diagnosing issues, and implementing solutions to minimize downtime
