Job Summary (AWS SRE Architect) Chicago-(local To Chicago)

Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available AWS cloud infrastructure solutions.
Lead Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices to ensure service uptime, resilience, and high performance for cloud-native applications.
Architect infrastructure using AWS services (EC2, EKS/ECS, RDS, Lambda, S3, CloudFormation, etc.).
Develop and enforce Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated software deployment and testing.
Establish robust monitoring, alerting, and observability frameworks (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).
Define and monitor SLOs/SLIs, perform capacity planning, and conduct performance tuning.
Automate incident response and remediation processes using scripting and runbooks.
Collaborate with security, development, and operations teams to ensure system reliability, compliance, and best practices.
Mentor and guide junior engineers, promoting DevOps and SRE methodologies across teams.
Drive cost optimization and security best practices within AWS environments.
Implement and manage Kubernetes (EKS) and containerized workloads.
Support multi-account AWS environments with landing zones and service control policies as needed.
