Overview
We are hiring a Mid-Level Cloud DevOps Engineer with strong AWS and Kubernetes (EKS) experience to support deployment, observability, and operational excellence of cloud-native applications. The candidate must have solid infrastructure-as-code, container orchestration, and monitoring experience.
Position
Contract (6 months) – Full-time, Onsite
Responsibilities
- Upgrade internal applications and third-party tools deployed on Amazon EKS
- Provision, configure, and maintain AWS resources (EC2, EKS, S3, RDS, IAM)
- Manage Kubernetes cluster upgrades, patching, and performance tuning
- Maintain Helm charts and Docker image repositories
- Troubleshoot pod evictions, throttling, and deployment issues
- Enhance monitoring through Grafana, Loki, and Prometheus
- Manage GitLab/Bitbucket-based CI/CD pipelines and CloudFormation Templates
- Upgrade AMIs and associated AWS services
- Collaborate with functional teams and maintain system observability
Requirement Qualifications
- 5–7 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering roles
- Strong expertise in AWS (EKS, EC2, RDS, IAM, S3)
- Kubernetes operations and Helm chart experience
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js
- Hands-on with Git, GitLab, Bitbucket, and Docker
- Experience with Grafana, Loki, Prometheus
- Infrastructure-as-Code using CloudFormation
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to adapt and upskill with emerging technologies
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certification (Associate or DevOps Engineer)
- Linux administration experience
- Bash or Python scripting
- Exposure to GitOps deployment workflows
Candidate Details
- Must be currently located in Malvern, PA
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS, EKS, Kubernetes, Helm, Docker
- Available to work onsite full-time without remote flexibility
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
