Job Summary:

As a key member of our Platform team, you’ll write high-quality, maintainable code to build and manage the cloud infrastructure powering company’s products. This is not just a DevOps or infrastructure role, it’s a software engineering position focused on automating infrastructure, improving deployment pipelines, and enabling developer velocity through code. You’ll help drive modern cloud practices using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD automation, and cloud-native development to support our growing suite of applications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and the Serverless Framework; coding is a daily responsibility.
  • Write code to build and manage AWS-based infrastructure that supports scalable, secure, and highly available systems.
  • Collaborate with software engineers to design cloud solutions that align with application architecture.
  • Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid and reliable software delivery.
  • Automate operational processes and platform services with reusable, tested code.
  • Partner with security and compliance teams to ensure all infrastructure is secure and auditable by design.
  • Drive the adoption of DevOps best practices and a coding-first approach to platform engineering.

Qualifications:

  • Strong programming skills are required; experience in languages such as Python, Node.js, Java, or C# is essential.
  • 5+ years of experience building and maintaining infrastructure in AWS environments.
  • Deep hands-on experience with container orchestration using ECS or EKS.
  • Solid foundation in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform required; CloudFormation and Terragrunt also a plus).
  • Experience managing observability stacks (monitoring, alerting, logging).
  • Ability to write reusable modules, pipelines, and automation scripts that scale across teams.
  • Experience with Gruntwork.io or other reusable IaC module frameworks is a strong plus.
  • AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer) are advantageous.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred
