  • Use configuration management and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI) to automate application deployments and platform delivery.
  • Migrate legacy systems—including on-prem, VM-hosted, or non-scalable architectures—to scalable, highly available AWS environments using containers and serverless.
  • Support data and application migration efforts from on-premises to AWS cloud platforms.
  • Develop automation for operational tasks across cloud platforms.
  • Implement AWS best practices focused on cost optimization, performance, security, and scalability.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient with Infrastructure as Code tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, or ARM templates.
  • Experience in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell; familiarity with AWS CLI and SDK.
  • Background in systems engineering/administration (Linux or Windows).
  • Experience with containerized (Docker, Kubernetes) or serverless architectures.
  • Strong understanding of IAM, security controls, firewalls, patching, and network architecture.
  • Proficiency with source control systems such as Git, VSTS, or SVN.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Travis CI, or Bamboo.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • AWS certifications or ability to obtain certification within the first 90 days.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
