LIDP Consulting Services Inc. (LIDP) is looking for a Cloud Engineer/Java Developer. We are a growing organization that provides software solutions to the Life Insurance industry. Our customers are large and mid-sized insurers that provide life and annuity contracts primarily based in the US.

This is a full-time remote position.

Job description

The Cloud Engineer position at LIDP is a vital part of our continued success as an organization. An individual in this role is willing and able to learn and adapt quickly to technological changes and implementations.

Support development staff in operations utilizing AWS as well as clients who require consultation on cloud deployment best practices. Developing roadmaps and best practices for deployment within a cloud infrastructure. Assist our development team by contributing to various programming tasks and enhancements using Java.

Strong communication skills are needed to operate successfully within this role.

This role reports directly to the CSO.

Experience in the life insurance industry is a plus. Some travel may be required.

Duration

This is a full-time position working a minimum of 40 hours per week. Salary is open and dependent on skills and experience.
