Next Ventures are looking for an Azure Cloud Engineer to join one of our customers in the Netherlands. This is a hands-on role combining engineering and consultancy—guiding application teams through their cloud journey while building secure, scalable Azure-native solutions.

2/3 per week on site

Amsterdam

6+ Month Contract

Requirements

5+ Years in Azure Cloud
Advise teams on cloud design and platform standards
Build landing zones, reference architectures, and Azure Verified Modules
Enable teams with tooling for monitoring, security, and automation
Support adoption of Azure services like ADF, Databricks, and AKS
Coach teams through training, PoCs, and solution design
5+ years in software/cloud engineering (2+ in Azure)
Strong in Azure DevOps, IaC (Bicep/PowerShell), data services, and cloud-native design
Able to guide teams and navigate enterprise-level cloud environments
Bonus: Python/C#, financial services background, Azure certifications
