We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. This role is crucial for implementing, monitoring, and maintaining our Microsoft Azure environments. The successful candidate will be involved in the design, configuration, and optimization of Azure cloud-based solutions to meet our business needs and drive innovation.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform.
• Collaborate with IT project managers and software developers to integrate cloud solutions with existing systems.
• Manage Azure environments, including deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure cloud security best practices are followed and implemented, including managing identity and access controls.
• Optimize cloud resource utilization by implementing cost-effective solutions and performance tuning.
• Automate cloud tasks using scripting languages and Azure automation tools.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure services and technologies and recommend improvements to our cloud architecture.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders on Azure-related initiatives and issues.
• Document cloud architectures and procedures to ensure a robust and resilient infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years' experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role with a strong understanding of Azure services and management tools.
• Certification in Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cloud service management, cloud architecture and networking principles.
• AWS background/experience/knowledge preferred
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Experience with automation and configuration management tools like Azure Automation, Chef, or Puppet.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working collaboratively with multiple teams across the organization.
