Cloud Engineer – Terraform & Automation Focus

About the Role:

We are looking for a Cloud Engineer with deep hands-on experience in Terraform, scripting (Python/Shell), cloud infrastructure engineering, and GitHub workflows/actions to join our growing team. This role is highly technical and will play a key part in automating and optimizing our cloud environments, supporting infrastructure as code (IaC) practices, and driving operational efficiency through robust CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform with a focus on modular, reusable code.
• Develop automation scripts in Python and Shell to support infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and operational tasks.
• Manage and enhance GitHub workflows/actions for continuous integration, deployment, and infrastructure automation.
• Collaborate with software engineers, DevOps, and security teams to build reliable, scalable, and secure cloud solutions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud systems to ensure high availability and performance.
• Implement infrastructure best practices, including cost optimization, security hardening, and version control.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of IaC templates, process documentation, and automation playbooks.
• Participate in infrastructure design reviews, planning, and sprint activities in an Agile environment.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of cloud engineering experience (preferably AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong expertise in Terraform for IaC deployments.
• Proficient in Python and Shell scripting for automation tasks.
• Experience building and managing GitHub workflows/actions.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and modern DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with other IaC tools like CloudFormation, Pulumi, or Ansible.
• Exposure to monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Cloud-native logging solutions.
• Knowledge of security best practices in the cloud
