About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Atlassian Cloud Migration Engineer to lead and execute the migration of Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.) from on-premise or Data Center environments to Atlassian Cloud. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with complex migrations, deep knowledge of Atlassian products, and a strong understanding of cloud architecture and governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and execute end-to-end Atlassian Cloud migrations.
• Assess current Atlassian environments and develop migration strategies.
• Perform data analysis, clean-up, and transformation as needed for cloud readiness.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure minimal disruption and successful cutover.
• Configure and optimize Atlassian Cloud products post-migration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve migration-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with security, data privacy, and governance standards.
• Provide training and documentation for end-users and administrators.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience with Atlassian Cloud migrations (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket).
• Strong understanding of Atlassian tools, including administration and customization.
• Experience with Atlassian Cloud Migration Assistants and APIs.
• Familiarity with user management, permissions, workflows, and automation.
• Knowledge of cloud security, compliance, and performance best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
