Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Operations Engineer to join our IT Operations team and ensure the reliable, secure, and efficient functioning of our hybrid cloud infrastructure. This hands-on role involves managing day-to-day infrastructure operations, system administration, incident response, and continuous improvement initiatives across cloud (Azure, AWS) and on-prem environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot Windows/Linux servers and virtual environments (VMware, Hyper-V)
• Manage cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS), ensuring availability, performance, and cost optimization
• Implement and maintain monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure for business-critical applications
• Ensure compliance with SLAs, security standards, and operational readiness 24/7
• Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and process improvements

Required Skills:

• 5+ years in systems/cloud infrastructure administration
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure, AWS, Windows/Linux, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
• Familiarity with networking, security tools, backup systems (e.g., Veeam, Commvault)
• Experience with monitoring tools, ITIL processes, and service management (e.g., ServiceNow)
• Scripting or automation (PowerShell, Bash) is a plus
