Job Description

Seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to lead automation and CI/CD initiatives across Mastercard’s global virtual payments platform. The role involves developing Chef/Ansible automation, orchestrating Jenkins pipelines, and ensuring high system reliability and performance in a hybrid, collaborative environment.

Mandatory Skills

8+ years of overall experience in DevOps engineering
Hands-on expertise in Chef or Ansible (writing cookbooks/playbooks and designing deployment processes)
Jenkins pipeline orchestration and CI/CD toolchain integration (SonarQube, Maven, Artifactory)
Proficiency in one or more languages: Java, Python, Go, Groovy, Perl, or Ruby
Experience in scalable deployments and infrastructure automation
Strong understanding of incident response, root cause analysis, and MTTR optimization
Ability to collaborate with global teams across different time zones
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
