We are seeking a skilled DevOps / Automation Engineer to join our dynamic engineering and architecture team. You will be responsible for delivering and maintaining CI/CD tooling that empowers DevOps teams to build and deploy products efficiently for our clients. This role offers a hybrid work model and involves close collaboration with both internal teams and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and associated development tooling.
• Manage and support a wide range of tools within the DevOps ecosystem (e.g., Kubernetes, Kafka, Elasticsearch, SonarQube, RedHat OpenShift, Ansible).
• Support environments primarily built in the Java or .NET stack.
• Work with cloud platforms and services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) to enable scalable and resilient infrastructure.
• Install and configure tooling for new setups as well as upgrade and maintain existing systems.
• Automate provisioning and configuration using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
• Develop and maintain integrations using REST APIs to connect tools and services for end-to-end automation.
• Provide technical support to teammates and consult with clients on best practices and solutions.
• Engage with external users and stakeholders to ensure alignment and satisfaction with tooling and processes.
• Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies to enhance the team's capabilities.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3 years of proven experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling in enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with:

Kubernetes, Kafka, Elasticsearch, SonarQube, RedHat OpenShift, Ansible.

Java and/or .NET ecosystems.

Experience with cloud technologies (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).

Proficiency in automated provisioning tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.

Comfortable with REST API integration and scripting for automation workflows.

Ability to install, configure, and upgrade development tools.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Effective communicator with experience interacting with clients and external users.
• Fluent in Dutch and English

Nice to Have

• Experience with Kong API Gateway or similar API management platforms.
• Interest in emerging technologies and a willingness to experiment and innovate
