Principal Environments Engineer

About the Role

Lead our Environment as a Service (EaaS) initiative by designing, deploying, and optimizing scalable cloud and on-premises application environments. This technical lead role requires expertise in Azure Cloud, DevOps practices, and environment automation to deliver high-quality development, testing, and production environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver, uplift, and maintain high quality and fit for purpose Environment solutions for enterprise-level Development, Testing and Production supporting CI/CD
• Design and implement self-service, on-demand ephemeral environments with automated provisioning and cost optimization
• Build comprehensive automation solutions for environment management workflows
• Enhance environment visibility through comprehensive dashboards and monitoring
• Optimize environment configurations for reliability and efficiency
• Drive continuous improvement in environment management processes

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of experience in Azure cloud, environment engineering, or DevOps
• Strong background in CI/CD, automation tools, and Agile methodologies
• Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS)
• Strong communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills
• Proven success in complex environment management and stakeholder engagement
• Analytical problem-solving skills with a focus on automated solutions
