Job Description

Sabre Mosic Platform Technical Services team acts across various services and systems, designing and developing frameworks, tools, and services to meet business and security needs, simplify and automate CI/CD, improve developer productivity through improving the developer experience (DevEx), enhance automation, reducing cognitive load and costs. Engineer Job overview: · General involvement and collaboration: Plans, designs, develops, and tests software systems or applications for new products and enhancements, including cloud-based or internet-related tools. Uses java and DevOps hands on experience in above. · Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Sets up, maintains, and optimizes CI/CD pipelines. Designs, develops, manages, and automates the release process to ensure smooth, reliable, and repeatable deployments. · Monitoring and Logging: Implements and manages monitoring tools to ensure system health and performance if needed. · Security and Compliance: Ensures security best practices are followed, such as managing secrets, performing security scans, and ensuring compliance with industry standards · Cross-Functional Collaboration: Works closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth integration and alignment of DevOps and SDLC practices. · Documentation: Creates and maintains comprehensive documentation for deployment processes and troubleshooting guides. · Frequently interacts with subordinate functional peer groups. Interaction normally requires the ability to gain cooperation of others, sometimes conducting presentations of technical information concerning specific projects or schedules. Experience: · Typically 7-9 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with limited years of experience; or equivalent work experience (cloud based tech/languages, technology stacks, etc.) · Hands on experience with Unix/Linux platform · Hands on experience with Java v.11+ software development · Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts · Good and nice to have tools/technologies: o Jenkins (including Pipeline definition and Job DSLs) o Python - good to have o Bash (scripting) - good to have o Cloud solutions (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker, Monitoring and alerting) - good to have o Ansible – nice to have · Ability and experience to handle multiple projects simultaneously General Platform Team technology stack: Programming language: Java 17+, Python.
