Role: Role: DevOps Engineer

Start Date: 4th August 2025

Location: Remote with occasional on-site (TBC)

Contract Type: Inside IR35

Duration: Until 31st December 2025, with extension through 2026 expected

About the Role:

Our client is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to support the build and operational maturity of a highly regulated data platform environment. Working alongside a team of Data Engineers, you’ll help deliver scalable and secure infrastructure using modern DevOps tooling, with a strong emphasis on observability, automation, and communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain infrastructure using Azure and Terraform
• Enhance observability with Datadog and other monitoring tools
• Support infrastructure across a controlled, regulated environment
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies and collaborate cross-functionally
• Implement best practices for CI/CD and environment automation
• Work closely with platform and data engineering teams on the CDP

Essential Skills:

• Strong experience with Azure cloud environments
• Hands-on expertise with Terraform for infrastructure-as-code
• Practical experience with Datadog or similar observability tools
• Solid grasp of Agile delivery in a regulated or controlled environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Desirable Skills:

• Knowledge or experience with Databricks
• Understanding of DevOps practices in Databricks environments
