Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience in
deploying and managing infrastructure using technologies such as Terraform, Kubernetes, AWS,
API Gateway, Jenkins, and Elasticsearch. The ideal candidate will play a key role in enhancing our
development and deployment processes, ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
- Utilize Terraform to define and deploy infrastructure components efficiently.
- Maintain and enhance infrastructure code to meet evolving project requirements.
- Container Orchestration:
- Implement and manage Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration.
- Ensure the scalability, availability, and security of containerized applications.
- Cloud Services:
- Work with AWS servicesto design, deploy, and manage scalable and reliable cloud
infrastructure.
- Optimize cloud resources for cost-efficiency and performance.
- ContinuousIntegration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):
- Configure and manage Jenkins pipelinesfor automated build, test, and deployment
processes.
- Collaborate with development teams to streamline CI/CD workflows.
- API Gateway:
- Design, implement, and manage API Gateway solutions for secure and efficient
communication between services, preferably AWS API Gateway
- Ensure API Gateway configurations align with security and performance standards.
- Monitoring and Logging:
- Implement monitoring solutions using tools such as Elasticsearch, Logstash.
- Set up logging mechanisms to facilitate troubleshooting and analysis of system
behavior.
- Security and Compliance:
- Collaborate with the security team to implement and maintain best practices for
security in infrastructure and applications.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators,
and operations, to achieve project goals.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholdersto share progress and
address challenges.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, AWS, API Gateway,
Jenkins, and Elasticsearch.
- Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python. Go) for automation tasks.
- Knowledge of best practices in CI/CD, containerization, and infrastructure management.
- Familiarity with security principles and practices in a DevOps environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
