About the Role:

We're looking for a high-impact Sr. DevOps Engineer to join our team — someone who combines deep technical expertise with a collaborativx`e spirit. This is an opportunity to step into a pivotal role where your work will shape our infrastructure, guide others, and help scale the technical foundation of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure on AWS.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
• Serve as the technical lead for DevOps initiatives, with the opportunity to grow into a leadership role and potentially manage a small team.
• Work alongside a top-tier contractor during the onboarding phase, with continued support and knowledge transfer.
• Drive infrastructure strategy, lead planning efforts, and ensure flawless execution.

What We're Looking For:

Certifications & Experience:

• AWS certifications required – flexibility on the specific certifications, but Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional) is strongly preferred.
• Certifications in data services (e.g., AWS Data Analytics) are a plus.

Technical Expertise:

• Deep experience as a senior web application engineer, ideally having evolved into a solutions architect or infrastructure-focused role.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Node.js (required); Python experience is a plus.
• Proven experience with Terraform and MongoDB (both required).
• Mastery of Linux (Bash) and Docker containers.

Leadership & Collaboration:

• A self-starter with technical leadership skills and a passion for mentoring others.
• Ability to develop and execute strategic infrastructure plans.
• Strong desire to share knowledge, elevate team skills, and lead by example.
