About The Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the continuous monitoring and maintenance of the NEXIT server-side application, ensuring optimal performance, stability, and scalability. You will play a critical role in ensuring the application infrastructure remains responsive and resilient around the clock.

Key Responsibilities

Provide 24/7 monitoring of the health, availability, and performance of the NEXIT server side application.
Respond promptly to system alarms and incidents, ensuring real-time issue resolution.
Follow established operational procedures and escalation protocols to maintain system integrity and uptime.
Manage server resources to support application performance, including load balancing and auto-scaling infrastructure in response to user demand.
Maintain system documentation and contribute to process improvements that increase efficiency and reliability.
Conduct routine maintenance, patch management, and system updates with zero to minimal downtime.
Perform regular system health audits, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
Monitor and improve system security posture, including vulnerability scanning, intrusion detection, and applying best practices for access control.
Collaborate with software engineers to troubleshoot and resolve deployment or performance issues.

Requirements

Proven experience in DevOps, System Administration, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of server monitoring tools and performance tuning.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure automation tools.
Experience with incident management and root cause analysis.
Ability to work in a high-availability environment with strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
