DevOps Engineer

Job Summary:


  • We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with expertise in Azure cloud platforms and a strong background in Terraform automation to join our dynamic team.
  • The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in automating infrastructure, specifically setting up and managing Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) using Terraform. You should also have extensive experience working with GitHub Actions, GitOps, CI/CD pipelines, and ArgoCD to streamline application delivery and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Terraform Automation: Develop, implement, and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate the provisioning of Azure resources, with a focus on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters and associated infrastructure.
  • AKS Setup & Management: Automate the full lifecycle of AKS clusters, from creation, configuration, and scaling to troubleshooting, using Terraform and Azure native tools.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to enable continuous integration and deployment across environments.
  • GitOps Practices: Implement and manage GitOps workflows using tools like ArgoCD to automate application deployment directly from Git repositories.
  • Automation & Orchestration: Automate and streamline deployment processes for microservices, containerized applications, and serverless functions using tools such as Terraform, Kubernetes, and ArgoCD.
  • Infrastructure Monitoring & Management: Monitor and ensure high availability, performance, and security of cloud infrastructure, and troubleshoot issues in the AKS environment.
  • Version Control and Collaboration: Work with development teams to integrate source control management (GitHub) for infrastructure code, application code, and configuration files.
  • Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices in Terraform code, AKS clusters, and throughout the CI/CD pipeline (e.g., secrets management, access control).
  • Documentation & Best Practices: Maintain documentation for infrastructure configurations, CI/CD processes, and security standards. Follow and advocate for DevOps best practices.



Required Skills & Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles.
  • Strong experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation, specifically on Azure platform.
  • Expertise in managing Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), including configuration, deployment, and scaling.
  • Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions to automate workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of GitOps principles and workflows, with practical experience using ArgoCD for continuous deployment.
  • Solid experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using modern tools and practices.
  • Proficient in Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Strong scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
  • Familiarity with Azure services such as Azure Functions, App Services, Key Vault, Storage Accounts, and Networking.
  • Understanding of cloud security best practices, especially in the context of Kubernetes and Azure cloud environments.
