Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and moivated Cloud Security and DevOps Engineer to join
our dynamic team. As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security,
scalability, and efficiency of our cloud-based infrastructure while also contribuing to our
DevOps pracices. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in cloud
technologies, security protocols, and hands-on experience with DevOps tools.
Key Responsibilites:
1. Cloud Security:
• Design, implement, and maintain security measures to safeguard our cloud
infrastructure.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and address
vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices
throughout the development and deployment lifecycle.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and
implement corrective actions.
2. DevOps:
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automa1ng the deployment and tes1ng
of applications.
• Work closely with development teams to streamline the development and release
processes.
• Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform
or CloudFormation.
• Collaborate with operations and development teams to troubleshoot and resolve
issues in the development, test, and production environments.
3. Infrastructure Management:
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability, performance, and
cost-effectiveness.
• Implement and manage containerization technologies such as Docker and
orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery solu1ons are in place.
4. Collaboration:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and
provide technical solutions.
• Work closely with the IT security team to align cloud security measures with
organizational policies and standards.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer with a focus on security and DevOps.
• Strong understanding of Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud platform.
• In-depth knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security
measures in a cloud environment.
• Proficient with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines, configuration
management, and version control.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) for automation.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies and orchestration tools.
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty, or AWS Certified Solutions
Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer are a plus.
