Roles & Responsibilities
As an Associate DevOps Engineer at Impetus Technologies, there are several key roles and responsibilities that you will be expected to fulfill:
1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams: The Associate DevOps Engineer will work closely with the development, operations, and quality assurance teams to streamline the software development and deployment process. This will involve effective communication and teamwork to ensure that all stakeholders are aligned on project goals and timelines.
2. Implement and maintain continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines: The Associate DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment process. This will require a strong understanding of tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Docker, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and optimize the pipeline for maximum efficiency.
3. Monitoring and troubleshooting: The Associate DevOps Engineer will be tasked with monitoring the performance of applications and infrastructure, as well as identifying and resolving any issues that may arise. This will involve the use of monitoring and logging tools, as well as the ability to respond quickly to incidents and outages.
4. Infrastructure as code: The Associate DevOps Engineer will work on automating infrastructure provisioning and management using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Chef. This will involve writing and maintaining infrastructure code to ensure that the company's resources are scalable, secure, and cost-effective.
5. Security and compliance: The Associate DevOps Engineer will be expected to adhere to security best practices and compliance standards in their work.
