DevOps Engineer

📍 Utrecht 1x per week

Our client a major European Bank is looking for RSC DevOps Engineer (Risk, Security, and Compliance DevOps Engineer) to join the team. Ideally you will have experience with Oracle Infrastructure.

You'll design, build, and maintain secure, compliant Oracle database environments using tools like Ansible, Python, and LDAP-based identity management (OID/OUD, EUS). Collaborating closely with other DevOps teams, you’ll automate workflows, integrate compliance controls, and improve system resilience. The team ensure that Risk, Security and Compliance standards with regards to Oracle Databases are consistently met. From access and identity management (OID/OUD) to vulnerability management and privileged access control. They collaborate closely with stakeholders to manage demand, align priorities and continuously improve their processes through automation.

Your responsibilities:

• Engineer and automate security/compliance solutions for Oracle DB infrastructure
• Implement identity and access management (LDAP, EUS, OID/OUD)
• Support data encryption and secure communication (TDE, TLS)
• Coach teammates on Ansible, Python, and secure automation practices

You bring:

• Strong skills in Ansible and Python (both are must-haves)
• Experience with Oracle Linux
• Experience with LDAP technologies (EUS, OID/OUD)
• Familiarity with data encryption and protection:
• Knowledge of TDE, TLS, and DevOps tooling (Azure DevOps, REST APIs)
• Agile mindset and a collaborative, continuous improvement approach
• Proficient in English (B2 level).

Nice to haves:

IAM/SCIM knowledge, Oracle FMW/WebLogic, Splunk, CyberArk

Knowledge of SCIM and Identity & Access Management (IAM).

Familiarity with DBA practices (database administration).
