You will be responsible for…
Proposing and implementing advanced cloud architectures, in continuous alignment with key cloud providers, such as AWS and Google
Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure.
Support the continuous evolution of infrastructure as code approach, ensuring advanced levels of automation throughout the lifecycle of all workloads.
Ensuring there are no single points of failure in the infrastructure.
Continuously improving efficiency when setting up new cloud infrastructure and maintaining existing instances, ensuring automation, resilience, and security.
skills:
Experience with Docker
Experience with Linux systems management
Proven experience in Kubernetes
Experience with Git, GitHub, BitBucket or Stash
Experience with CI and CD tools (Jenkins, Bamboo or similar)
Solid Experience with at least a programming/scripting language (Python, Ruby, Bash, GO, Java, Node.js, PHP)
Experience with application and system monitoring tools (such as Datadog, Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus, ElasticSearch, Kibana)
Experience in the configuration, management and troubleshooting of web servers (Apache, NGINX), database systems (SQL and Non SQL), caching (Cassandra, Redis, Memcache or others) and queues (RabbitMQ, ZeroMQ or similar)
Experience working as a DevOps or Cloud Engineer in an agile and fast paced environment
Experience in a continuous integration/deploy environment
Experience with AWS
Automation experience in the context of a micro-service/SOA architecture.
The following skills are not mandatory but will be valued
Experience with the implementation of a Service Mesh (for example, Istio, Linkerd, Kong Mesh)
Knowledge about Consul
Experience with Kubernetes native "infrastructure provider" tools such as Crossplane, AWS's ACK (AWS Controllers for Kubernetes), Google's Config Connector, Azure's ASO (which stands for Azure Service Operator)
Knowledge about one or more of the following: Helm, Kustomize, Grafana's Tanka, VMWare's carvel ytt
Experience with Backup tools like Velero for Kubernetes
Experience with Vault
