🚀 Job Opportunity: OpenShift Engineer

We’re seeking a highly skilled OpenShift Engineer to join our Cloud & Infrastructure team. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on building, scaling, and maintaining robust OpenShift platforms—primarily on-premises—with a strong emphasis on automation, GitOps, and modern DevOps practices.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage OpenShift clusters, with a focus on automated rollouts and scale-ups (preferably on-prem)
• Implement and maintain GitOps workflows using Flux or ArgoCD
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible
• Manage stateful workloads on Kubernetes/OpenShift platforms
• Troubleshoot and optimize cluster networking and service mesh configurations (Istio preferred)
• Collaborate with platform, security, and development teams to ensure platform reliability and scalability
• Integrate observability tools such as Thanos, Cortex, or Mimir for monitoring and metrics
• Support and manage OpenShift Data Foundation (ODF) where applicable
• Contribute to platform engineering best practices and documentation

🧠 Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with OpenShift and Kubernetes
• Proven experience with GitOps tools (Flux or ArgoCD)
• Proficiency in Ansible for configuration management
• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning
• Solid understanding of cluster networking and debugging
• Experience with service meshes (Istio or similar)
• Familiarity with managing stateful workloads in containerized environments

🌟 Desirable Skills

• Programming experience in Go or Rust
• Experience with Advanced Cluster Management (ACM)
• Exposure to observability tools like Thanos, Cortex, or Mimir
• Experience managing OpenShift Data Foundation (ODF)
