Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design and implement automation packages or pipelines to accelerate the development and release engineering process, including testing, deployment, monitoring, and alerting.
- Implement and maintain continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure that code changes are integrated and deployed quickly and efficiently.
- Manage site reliability and monitor applications and infrastructure resources to ensure that they are running smoothly, promptly identifying and resolving issues.
- Conduct application capacity planning and manage Kubernetes cluster provisioning to ensure efficient resource utilization and cost-effectiveness.
- Review and optimize applications, database deployment packages, and configuration manifests to ensure adherence to SecOps requirements and DevOps life cycle standards.
- Conduct research and development to establish a DevOps/SRE roadmap in alignment with the growth of the line of business and product strategic goals.
- Ensure that software engineering principles, particularly GitOps, are practiced within the organization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, software engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a DevOps engineer or in a similar software engineering role.
- Proficient with Git, Gitlab CI/CD, or GitHub workflows.
- In-depth knowledge and experience in container technology (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Proficient in scripting/CLI (PowerShell, Shell, Go).
- Experience with CI/CD platform tools (Jenkins, Puppet, Chef, ArgoCD, OctopusDeploy).
- Experience with managing observability platforms and tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK).
- Proficient in any of these programming languages (C#/Java/Go/Python/NodeJs).
- In-depth knowledge and experience in GitOps.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify and resolve technical issues.
- In-depth knowledge and experience in the Linux operating system.
