Job Description
We are seeking a skilled
DevOps & Security Engineer to join our cloud-focused development team. The role involves architecting and managing secure, scalable environments using
Microsoft Azure,
Azure DevOps,
Databricks,
Data Lake Storage,
Power BI, and related technologies. This is a collaborative opportunity to work with cross-functional teams on building and maintaining modern cloud-native infrastructure.
Scope of Work
- Work within the development team and report to the project manager and technical lead
- Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure Azure architecture environments
- Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of development and production systems
- Automate provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline software development lifecycle
- Monitor system performance and optimize for resource utilization
- Define and enforce security best practices and policies
- Work closely with security teams to maintain compliance with industry standards
Skills & Experience Required
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years in DevOps, Security, or Systems Administration
- Strong collaboration and communication skills; ability to explain complex topics to non-technical stakeholders
- Hands-on experience working across development, operations, and security teams
- Familiarity with multicultural and remote team environments
- Proven problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to technical challenges
- Comfort working in fast-paced, evolving technology environments
Required Technical Proficiency
- Microsoft Azure services and infrastructure management
- Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Test Plans)
- Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure Key Vault
- PowerShell for scripting and automation
- Azure Security Center, Active Directory, Virtual Machines, Blob Storage, and Azure Monitor
- Azure Resource Manager (ARM) for provisioning and managing Azure resources
Nice to Have
- Programming in C#, Python, or JavaScript
- Working with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics
- Experience in Power BI and PowerApps for data reporting and custom app development
- Familiarity with Azure Functions and Logic Apps for automation
