Payactiv is looking for an experienced
AWS DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on
Cloud Security, Docker, EKS, and Windows Server IIS to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with AWS services, particularly IAM-AD setup and configuration, and be able to integrate EC2 instances with AD for secure access. Candidates must be self-motivated, team-oriented, and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
What you will do…
- Design, implement, and maintain AWS infrastructure and services, including IAM-AD setup and configuration.
- Implement and manage best practices around DevOps and cloud security.
- Provide on-demand production support and troubleshooting.
- Create and manage scalable, reliable, and high-performance infrastructure.
- Ensure the availability, performance, and stability of services at scale.
- Implement monitoring, fault detection, alerting, triage, and recovery mechanisms.
- Document operational practices and procedures thoroughly.
- Build dashboards and tools for monitoring and transparency.
- Drive cost reductions through service optimizations and auto-scaling.
- Administer and configure Windows Server IIS environments.
- Work with containerized applications using Docker and EKS.
What you need…
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Docker (4+ years) and Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of observability tools like Datadog, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, or Site24x7.
- Experience in AWS: EC2, RDS, S3, ELB, Systems Manager, CloudWatch, Certificate Manager.
- Familiarity with AWS APIs and automation tools (CLI, Lambda).
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell preferred).
- Solid understanding of DNS, Load Balancing, SSL, networking, and security best practices.
- Experience in Active Directory setup and configuration.
- Expertise in Windows Server IIS administration and .NET development stack (C#), SQL Server, and scripting.
- Experience with Azure DevOps (VSTS/TFS) for CI/CD pipelines.
- AWS certifications are a plus (e.g., Certified DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator).
