We are supporting a leading financial organization in Luxembourg in the development of a cloud-native infrastructure for a new trading platform. As a Senior DevOps Engineer / Cloud Architect, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing secure, scalable, and automated cloud infrastructure based on Microsoft Azure.

This role requires a hands-on expert with strong knowledge of AKS, Terraform, firewall policies, and secure connectivity between on-prem and cloud environments.

Your Responsibilities

-Design and deploy complex infrastructure solutions in Azure, with a focus on AKS, network -security, DMZ zones, and firewalls

-Review and optimize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ensuring best practices and compliance

-Lead the migration of service mesh architecture (Istio) to Helm-based deployment models

-Advise on DevSecOps strategies, secure deployment, and policy implementation

-Support engineering teams by mentoring on cloud architecture, VM configuration, automation, and CI/CD pipelines

-Ensure robust communication flows between on-prem systems and Azure, considering regional compliance constraints

-Act as a trusted advisor to internal IT and project stakeholders

Your Profile

-Proven experience in Azure cloud infrastructure design and delivery, ideally in regulated environments

-Strong knowledge of AKS, networking (NSG, firewalls), DMZ, Istio, Helm, and Terraform

-Background in DevOps, automation, scripting (Shell, Python, Ansible)

-Able to challenge existing architecture and lead improvements with confidence

-Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

-Fluent in English; French or German is a plus
