Job Title: Lead AWS Devops Engineer

Total Experience: 10+ years

Job Location: Toronto, ON

Full Time

Role Description:

• Experience in architecting, implementing, and managing monitoring tools such as Prometheus/Grafana, CloudWatch, Splunk, Datadog, NewRelic, and ELK in the cloud

• Expert level knowledge of DevOps best practices and trends in the areas of source code management, CI/CD, Cloud, Automation, etc., with the ability to guide others in their usage

• Familiarity with TCP/IP protocol stack, including routing, network address translation, TCP/UDP connectivity, application-level protocols (HTTP, SMTP, DNS, etc.)

• Validating networking/firewall connectivity

Required Skill Set:

• 10+ years of experience as DevOps Engineer with experience working on AWS.

• Networking: AWS network load balancer, Route 53, API Gateway

• Container orchestration/management: 70+ services running in ECS Security: AWS Cert manager, cloudfront

• Databases: MySQL, Postgres, Redis, S3 AWS Lambdas Infrastructure as code terraform -- Deployment pipeline w/ Jenkins -- CI/CD

Desired Skill Set:

• Active oversight of Development, QA, and Production environments and plans future enhancements to meet business needs.

• Proficient in Git version control, including branch management, merging, and pull request handling.

• PIV checks to ensure changes are done and correct
