We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate Azure DevOps Engineer
who possesses a strong programming background in both Python or .NET. You will be
instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and scalable CI/CD pipelines
on Azure, automating infrastructure, and ensuring seamless delivery of our applications. Your
deep understanding of software development principles, coupled with your expertise in DevOps
methodologies, will be critical to our success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design & Implement CI/CD Pipelines: Architect, build, and maintain highly automated
Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) pipelines using Azure
DevOps (Azure Pipelines, Azure Repos, Azure Artifacts).
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and manage Azure infrastructure using IaC
principles with tools like Terraform, ensuring consistency, repeatability, and version
control.
- Automation & Scripting:
Write efficient, testable, and maintainable automation scripts primarily in Python
and PowerShell for various DevOps tasks, including environment provisioning,
deployment automation, and system configuration.
- Leverage Python for integrating with Azure APIs, creating custom tooling, and
automating complex workflows.
- Containerization & Orchestration: Implement and manage containerization strategies
using Docker and orchestrate deployments with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Monitoring & Logging: Establish comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting
solutions using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and other relevant tools to ensure
application health, performance, and reliability.
- Security & Compliance (DevSecOps): Integrate security best practices into the DevOps
pipeline (DevSecOps), including vulnerability scanning, secret management (e.g., Azure
Key Vault), and compliance adherence.
- Version Control: Champion Git best practices, including branching strategies, code
reviews, and repository management within Azure Repos.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure,
pipelines, and operational procedures.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify areas for improvement in existing
processes and tools, championing innovation and efficiency.
Requirements
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as an Azure DevOps Engineer or similar role, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in CI/CD implementation on Azure.
- Exceptional programming proficiency in Python for automation, scripting, and custom
tool development, microservices. OR
- Strong hands-on experience with .NET development (C#, ASP.NET Core preferred)
and a solid understanding of the .NET ecosystem, build processes, and deployment
patterns, microservices.
- Deep expertise with Azure DevOps Services (Azure Pipelines, Repos, Boards, Artifacts,
Test Plans). Experience with DevSecOps.
- Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
- Proficiency in containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms
(Azure Kubernetes Service - AKS).
- Experience with monitoring and logging solutions in Azure (Azure Monitor,
Application Insights).
- Solid understanding of networking concepts in Azure (VNets, NSGs, Load Balancers,
Firewalls).
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a methodical approach to troubleshooting complex
- systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively
- with diverse teams.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
Desirable (Bonus Points):
Have hands on experience with front end technologies like Angular or ReactJS.
Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400) certification.
Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
Knowledge of other scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Go).
Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
Familiarity with serverless computing in Azure (Azure Functions, Logic Apps).
