Job Description

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with a focus on embedded systems to design and implement efficient CI/CD pipelines tailored for embedded software development. This role involves collaborating closely with embedded development teams to streamline build and test processes, integrate automated testing, and manage hardware resources for continuous integration workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines optimized for embedded software development, including cross-compilation, flashing, and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing.
• Integrate automated testing frameworks into the CI/CD pipeline, including unit tests, integration tests, and system-level tests for embedded systems.
• Collaborate with embedded development teams to enhance and optimize build and test automation processes.
• Set up, configure, and manage hardware resources (e.g., device farms, test benches) for embedded systems testing within the CI/CD environment.

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of DevOps principles, practices, and automation strategies.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, or similar platforms.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience working within Agile development environments.

Preferred (Good to Have):

• Understanding of build processes, integration, and testing specific to embedded systems.
• Familiarity with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing and simulation methodologies for embedded environments.
