2025 is shaping up to be a huge year at Valcon, with new project wins and growing demand across our consulting business. We’re now looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our expanding delivery team — someone who can bring deep Azure and Azure DevOps (ADO) expertise to a variety of exciting client projects.

This is a great opportunity to join a forward-thinking consultancy where you’ll work across industries (including insurance), support complex solutions, and help shape DevOps best practices.

What you’ll be doing:

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
• Supporting the deployment of cloud-native solutions, primarily on Azure
• Working closely with engineering teams to build scalable, secure, and efficient environments
• Driving infrastructure-as-code practices (e.g. ARM, Bicep, Terraform)
• Supporting version control, release management, and automated testing processes
• Troubleshooting deployment and infrastructure issues across development, test, and production

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, ideally within a consulting or client-facing environment
• Strong knowledge of Azure services and Azure DevOps (ADO) pipelines
• Experience with infrastructure as code and automation tools (ARM, Bicep, Terraform, etc.)
• Solid scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash, or similar)
• Understanding of modern software delivery practices — CI/CD, GitOps, containers, etc.
• Familiarity with security, monitoring, and performance tuning in cloud environments
• Background working across multiple industries — insurance sector experience is a plus
• Strong communication and stakeholder skills
