About The Role

We are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join our team remotely. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, security, and scalability. Your expertise in Azure, AWS, and Terraform will enable you to automate infrastructure deployment, optimize workflows, and enhance our cloud-based applications. You will work closely with development and operations teams to implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, foster automation, and improve system reliability. A strong emphasis on automated testing, security compliance, and proactive monitoring will be key to your success in this position. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence our cloud strategy and contribute to the growth of our technological capabilities in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Azure and AWS cloud services and architecture
• Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code automation
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub, ArgoCD, Docker, and Helm
• Knowledge of scripting languages including Python and Bash
• Experience with performance tuning and scalability of cloud applications
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure monitoring and alerting tools
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong communication and documentation skills

Responsibilities

• Continuously evaluate cloud-hosted technology against industry standards and security compliance requirements
• Implement and manage infrastructure as code across cloud platforms, ensuring 100% automation
• Develop reusable code components for infrastructure, pipelines, templates, and scripts
• Design and execute end-to-end automated CI/CD pipelines for build, scan, testing, and deployment processes
• Drive containerization initiatives to leverage cloud-native features and scalability
• Ensure infrastructure and package vulnerabilities are addressed and mitigated promptly
• Integrate security scanning into CI/CD workflows to prevent vulnerable code deployment
• Enable self-service automation for platform requests, infrastructure provisioning, and maintenance tasks
• Implement instrumentation for monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting infrastructure issues
• Develop diagnostic tools and processes for incident response and system optimization
• Stay updated with modern data engineering and DevOps best practices, adopting new technologies incrementally
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation to meet audit and compliance standards
