As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll play a central role in designing, deploying, and maintaining infrastructure for client and internal projects. You’ll manage containerized Python applications in Kubernetes, help automate deployments, and collaborate closely with developers and security teams to build resilient, scalable systems. You’ll be expected to:
Own and manage Kubernetes environments, especially EKS on AWS.
Maintain and improve Infrastructure as Code using Ansible.
Build and monitor CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
Support secure Docker-based containerization and ensure best practices in image scanning and deployment.
Implement and manage observability stacks (e.g., logging, metrics, alerts).
Debug Python applications in production environments to support developers when needed.
Work with security teams to ensure infrastructure aligns with compliance frameworks (e.g., FISMA, FedRAMP).
Contribute to internal documentation and DevOps playbooks.
What We’re Looking For
Must-Haves
3+ years in a DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering role.
Strong experience with AWS, especially EKS and core networking/IAM services.
Proficiency with Docker and container lifecycle management.
Experience with Ansible, Helm, and GitHub Actions.
Comfort with reading and debugging Python code in a deployment or monitoring context.
Strong understanding of monitoring, alerting, and logging best practices.
Familiarity with DevSecOps principles and container/image security scanning tools.
Nice-to-Haves
Experience with self-hosted Kubernetes or GKE.
Exposure to tools like Terraform, Pulumi, or ArgoCD.
Knowledge of FISMA, FedRAMP, or other compliance frameworks.
Comfort working in small, cross-functional teams with a consulting mindset.
Python backend development with Flask, Django, or FastAPI
