About The Role
We're seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer for a short-term, high-impact project focused on migrating CI/CD pipelines from Azure DevOps (ADO) to GitHub Actions. This remote engagement will run through July and includes around 130 total hours of work. You’ll collaborate closely with a technical project manager and another developer to support a key client initiative.
What You Will Be Doing
- Migrating existing ADO pipelines (YAML-based) into GitHub Actions
- Designing and implementing automated workflows for builds, tests, and deployments
- Configuring GitHub environments, secrets, and runners
- Collaborating with internal and customer-facing teams to align on requirements and milestones
- Providing documentation and support for future maintenance and hand-off
What We Want To See:
- Proven experience with CI/CD pipeline migrations, especially from Azure DevOps to GitHub Actions
- Strong skills in YAML scripting for pipeline automation
- Ability to work independently and within a small delivery team
- Solid communication skills and comfort working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
