Role Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and implementation of infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand their requirements and provide support for continuous integration and deployment workflows.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes.
- Implement and maintain cloud infrastructure using tools like AWS or Azure.
- Support deployment strategies and manage application releases.
- Help with container orchestration using technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Participate in system architecture discussions and provide insights on engineering best practices.
- Document operational procedures and create knowledge base articles.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in DevOps.
- Assist in configuring monitoring solutions to ensure maximum system uptime.
- Facilitate communication between development and operations teams.
- Support incident management and root cause analysis for outages.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Help develop and enforce security best practices in deployment environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices and methodologies.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Basic knowledge of containerization tools like Docker.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Ability to write scripts in languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
- Evince strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Understanding of system monitoring tools and processes.
- Familiarity with automation tools like Jenkins or Ansible.
- Knowledge of Linux operating systems and command line usage.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts.
- Prior internship or project experience in DevOps is a plus.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
