DevOps Engineer – Midrand / Semi-Remote – R600 PH
POSITION INFO:
We are seeking a skilled and forward-thinking
DevOps Engineer to help build and maintain the infrastructure, automation, and deployment pipelines that power our mission-critical applications.
As part of our global DevOps team, you will collaborate with developers, architects, and platform engineers to streamline software delivery, increase system reliability, and champion a DevOps-first culture across the ecosystem.
Requirements:
- Strong expertise in DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipeline design and implementation
- Proficiency in managing and automating infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
- Advanced knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and their DevOps services
- Solid understanding of test management processes and tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr)
- Experience in scripting and automation using languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Strong knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk
- Expertise in version control systems like Git and branching strategies
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system and application issues
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter
