We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our dedicated team!
Responsibilities:
Instituting and promoting continuous integration/delivery practices within the development team
Working with hosting and/or cloud providers to set up application environments and enable smooth and efficient application deployments
Developing scripts and making use of continuous integration tools to automate build, software release, and application deployment
Provisioning and managing servers, virtual machines, application containers, software licenses and other related resources for the development team
Conduct system level security scans, harden system and application platform
Manage the operations of cloud infrastructure and application services in production environment
Ensuring infrastructure and services meet compliance standards (e.g., CIS Benchmarks, NIST frameworks) while driving automation, standardization, and best practices
Documenting implementation and maintaining technical documentation to ensure clarity and consistency for future reference
Requirements
Passion for automation, standardisation, compliance and best practices
Familiarity with Python, ELK, Docker, NGINX, Grafana, and Kubernetes
Experience with configuration management tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc)
Experience with common AWS resources (Load balancers, CloudFront, EKS, ECS, Security Hub, etc)
Experience with relevant CI tools/technologies, such as TeamCity, Github, Gitlab
Experience with system administration and scripting on Unix, Linux and Windows environments
Comfortable with Agile methodologies and working closely with Agile development teams
Experience with implementing cost-optimization strategies through cloud-native best practices will be an added advantage
Minimum of 3 years' experience in similar role
Relevant industry certifications (e.g. Red Hat Certified Engineer, CKA) will be an added advantage
Ideally someone who has managed production system and with best practice and compliance in mind.
