About the Role:

HIRIST is hiring DevOps Interns on behalf of a leading IT client. This internship is designed for candidates interested in gaining practical DevOps experience while working with real infrastructure and automation systems. Interns will support deployment and operational workflows under the guidance of experienced DevOps engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Help maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Assist in cloud infrastructure configuration (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Monitor and report on system health, uptime, and deployments.
• Automate routine operations using shell scripting or Python.
• Document deployment processes and system configurations.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of Linux environments and terminal-based operations.
• Understanding of version control systems like Git.
• Basic familiarity with CI/CD concepts and deployment tools.
• Interest in system reliability, automation, and cloud operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, or container technologies.
• Experience with scripting (Bash/Python).
• Hands-on experience or coursework in DevOps tools or cloud hosting.
• Familiarity with IaC tools like Terraform or Ansible.

Internship Details:

• Duration: 3 Months
• Commitment: 15–20 hours/week (flexible)
• Stipend will be provided based on performance and engagement.
• Completion certificate and project documentation support provided.

Selection Process:

2. Beginner-level technical task
3. Interview with DevOps engineer or project mentor
4. Final onboarding via HIRIST
