  • We are looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking Global Head of SRE to lead and unify our globally distributed Site Reliability Engineering and DevOps teams.
  • Someone who has managed large-scale, global teams but is still hungry to drive change and transformation in a true 24/7 critical systems environment.
  • You’ll be tasked with consolidating federated SRE and DevOps teams into a centralized structure, ensuring operational excellence across cloud infrastructure, and modernizing legacy technology while maintaining reliability and security.
  • Global Leadership: Manage a large globally distributed team across driving SRE strategy and execution at scale.
  • Organizational Transformation: Consolidate existing federated teams into a cohesive, high-performing centralized SRE and DevOps organization.
  • Mission-Critical Systems: Ensure 24/7 uptime and resilience for globally distributed critical systems, balancing legacy and modern cloud infrastructure.
  • Strategic Framework Design: Define the team structure, operational processes, and tooling strategy, providing a clear framework to executive leadership.
  • Technical Leadership: Oversee reliability engineering across both private and public cloud environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
  • Executive Stakeholder Management: Communicate key initiatives, risks, and improvements to leadership teams and drive a high-impact engineering culture.
  • Has managed large global teams across multiple time zones and cultures.
  • Strong Infrastructure & SRE Background: Experience with critical systems, high availability (99.99%+ uptime), incident response, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Proven ability to manage a mix of legacy and modern cloud infrastructure
  • Has successfully led organizational transformation, including merging federated teams into a centralized model.
  • Can design and implement team structures that scale globally and align with business goals.
  • Understands and influences decisions on infrastructure, automation, observability, and DevOps best practices.
  • Experience leading teams with these types of technologies: monitoring, observability, telemetry, CI/CD, Kubernetes/OpenShift, Configuration Management, etc.
  • Comfortable with legacy technologies and modernization: IBM iSeries (AS/400), AIX, Mainframe, etc.
  • Comfortable with frequent travel to global offices to align teams and drive change.
