SUMMARY:

Our client is recruiting a Junior DevOps Engineer to join their team based in Centurion. If you have 1–2 years of experience in DevOps, particularly with Azure DevOps, Azure, Kubernetes, and Helm, then this opportunity is made for you.

You’ll collaborate closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams, contributing to deployment automation, cloud infrastructure optimization, and system reliability.

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role
  • Hands-on experience with Azure and Azure DevOps
  • Experience working with Kubernetes and Helm Charts
  • Understanding of CI/CD principles and tools
  • Scripting knowledge (e.g., Bash, Python, or PowerShell)

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
  • Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Bicep (bonus)
  • Solid understanding of cloud networking, security, and system administration
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and eagerness to grow in a fast-paced DevOps environment

KPA’s:

  • Maintain and support Azure-based cloud infrastructure
  • Build and monitor CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
  • Deploy and manage cloud-native applications with Helm on Kubernetes
  • Optimize infrastructure performance and ensure reliability
  • Collaborate with development teams on automation best practices
  • Contribute to documentation and process improvement
  • Support cloud security standards and compliance
