SUMMARY:

Our client, based in Centurion, is looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer to join their growing team. This is a full-time, in-office position, perfect for someone with 1–2 years of DevOps and cloud infrastructure experience who’s eager to grow their skills in a fast-paced, tech-forward environment. You’ll work closely with both development and operations teams to streamline deployments, enhance automation, and support modern cloud infrastructure, with a strong focus on Azure, Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, and Helm Charts.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with managing and maintaining Azure-based cloud infrastructure
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
• Deploy and manage applications on Kubernetes clusters using Helm Charts
• Support containerization strategies using Docker and Kubernetes
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize infrastructure and application performance
• Collaborate with Developers to improve deployment automation and ensure reliability
• Assist with implementing cloud security best practices and compliance measures
• Document infrastructure architecture, processes, and DevOps best practices
  
  

Skills & Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of experience in a DevOps or cloud engineering role
• Hands-on experience with Azure and Azure DevOps
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes and Helm Charts
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
• Scripting experience with Bash, Python, or PowerShell
• Exposure to Git and Infrastructure as Code tools, like Terraform or Bicep, is a plus
• Basic understanding of cloud networking, security, and system administration
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards learning
