Gerniks is looking for a motivated and proactive DevOps Engineer to support our fast-growing FinTech project.

You’ll be joining a committed and collaborative team working on a real-world web application with complex business logic.

• 1 + year solid experience in a DevOps/SRE or Linux-sysadmin role.
• Docker in daily use—building images, running containers, troubleshooting.
• CI/CD with Jenkins or GitLab CI—writing pipelines, managing runners, handling artefacts.
• Confident scripting in Bash (Python is a plus) to automate repetitive tasks.
• Experience maintaining Linux servers (updates, security hardening, performance tuning).
• Familiarity with Ansible (or Puppet) for automated server/config management.
• Ability to set up centralised logs and alerts (ELK/Graylog, or similar) and react to incidents.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases—including automated backup, restore, and replication procedures.
• Exposure to Kafka or other messaging systems is welcome.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and clear English communication—daily collaboration with QA, backend/front-end developers, and the Support team.
• Passion for documentation—runbooks, post-mortems, and “how-to” guides in Confluence/Jira
