This is more than a job — it's a paid training program designed to equip you with the skills and experience to thrive in the world of observability, monitoring, and site reliability engineering (SRE). Over the course, you'll receive hands-on training, mentorship, and real-world project experience. Upon successful completion, you'll transition into a full-time Junior Observability Engineer role.
What You'll Learn & Do
Understand the fundamentals of observability: metrics, logs, traces, and events
Get hands-on with tools like Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, ELK, and more
Learn how to build dashboards, configure alerts, and create monitoring pipelines to support proactive system health
Work on real-life projects involving system performance, uptime optimization, debugging, and incident response
Develop practical skills in root cause analysis, problem-solving, and threat detection fundamentals
Build a strong foundation in network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS) and system administration (Linux, CLI tools, scripting)
Explore packet and traffic analysis using tools like Wireshark and tcpdump
Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot live or simulated incidents using observability tools and real-world scenarios
Develop problem-solving, incident response, and root cause analysis skills
Discover how observability integrates with DevOps, SRE, and cloud-native systems through hands-on labs, mentorship, and real-world simulations
Who You Are
A recent graduate or a final-year student (with a few courses / thesis pending) of Computer Science (or a STEM field)
Passionate about systems, infrastructure, or data
Curious, eager to learn, and not afraid to ask questions
Some exposure to Linux, scripting (e.g. Bash, Python), or cloud concepts is a plus - but not required
Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
