Lead DevOps Engineer – Permanent, Hybrid, Dublin

What’s Involved

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to understand and improve how they build, test, and deploy software.
  • Provide guidance on DevOps tools, environments, and best practices from our Centre of Excellence.
  • Build and promote CI/CD pipelines that are rapid, reliable, and secure.
  • Contribute to strategic DevOps initiatives, from documentation to hands-on delivery.
  • Act as a DevSecOps champion, encouraging modern, secure engineering across the organisation.
  • Present technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Support our transition to cloud-first and agile ways-of-working, including Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).


What’s Needed

  • Hands-on experience releasing and supporting production-grade software in complex environments.
  • Strong coding/scripting skills (e.g., Python, Java, Golang) and familiarity with test automation.
  • Deep experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Bamboo) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and how to provision and secure infrastructure.
  • Proficiency with config management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, OpenShift).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially in regulated environments.
  • Comfortable working in high-impact, cross-functional teams with multiple stakeholders and compliance requirements.
