Job Title: Mid-Level DevOps Engineer

BitBang is looking for a proactive and skilled Mid-Level DevOps Engineer to support the development, deployment, and maintenance of scalable infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. This role is perfect for someone with 2–4 years of hands-on DevOps experience who thrives in fast-paced environments, automates relentlessly, and collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability and performance of mission-critical systems.
Develop and maintain infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent.
Automate repetitive tasks and manual processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) following best practices.
Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
Ensure seamless code integration, automated testing, and reliable deployments.
Collaborate with development teams to streamline build, test, and release cycles.
Monitor system health and performance using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or New Relic.
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues to ensure maximum uptime.
Participate in on-call rotations and incident response activities.
Implement security best practices in infrastructure, deployment, and configuration management.
Support regular vulnerability scans, patch management, and audit requirements.
Work closely with software engineers, QA, and product teams to understand infrastructure needs.
Provide DevOps guidance and support across the software delivery lifecycle.
Contribute to documentation of DevOps procedures, tools, and workflows.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
2–4 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering roles.
Strong hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python, or similar).
Experience with CI/CD tools and container orchestration platforms like Docker and Kubernetes.
Solid understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Working Hours: Flexible start time between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM. Core hours are from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Sunday to Thursday.
