Key Responsibilities:

• Custom Java Development: Design and implement custom tools through custom coding in Java to meet specific platform needs.
• Performance Tuning Solutions: Develop and execute performance tuning strategies and roadmaps for the platform, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
• Nonfunctional Requirements Development: Define and document nonfunctional requirements for both new and existing platforms, focusing on performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Capacity Planning: Conduct capacity planning to ensure that the platform can scale to meet future demands.
• Chaos Engineering & SRE: Apply chaos engineering principles and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices to improve platform resilience and reliability.
• Performance Tuning Tools: Hands-on experience with various performance tuning tools, utilizing them to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Performance Testing Leadership: Lead the design, development, and execution of comprehensive performance test plans and test cases, particularly for Big Data, payment solutions, multi-cloud environments, and third-party applications.
• Bottleneck Analysis & Optimization: Analyze performance test results to identify bottlenecks, performance issues, and optimization opportunities, providing actionable insights.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with development, DevOps, and data engineering teams to implement performance improvements and ensure seamless integration across the platform.
• Automated Performance Testing: Develop and maintain automated performance testing scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks to streamline testing processes.
• ETL & Data Pipeline Optimization: Conduct performance tuning and optimization for ETL processes and data pipelines, ensuring efficient data handling and processing.
• Microsoft Azure PaaS Services: Utilize Microsoft Azure PaaS services, including Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Spark, Cosmos DB, and Azure Data Lake (Azure ELZ), for performance testing and optimization tasks.
• Big Data Technologies & Payments: Work with Cloudera Big Data technologies, Payments, Channel, Kafka, microservices, Teradata, and Oracle to assess and enhance platform performance.
• Batch Process Management: Manage batch processes and scheduling using Control-M scheduler to ensure timely and efficient processing.
• Performance Reporting: Provide detailed performance analysis reports and recommendations to stakeholders, offering insights for continuous improvement.
• Mentorship & Guidance: Mentor and guide team members on performance testing methodologies, tools, and best practices, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Industry Best Practices: Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in Big Data performance testing and cloud technologies, ensuring all testing activities comply with industry standards.
