Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and innovative Platform DevOps
Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for
designing, implementing, and maintaining automated infrastructure
solutions using tools such as Terraform and Ansible. You will work across both
on-premises and commercial cloud environments to ensure scalability,
reliability, and efficiency of our platform services.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement infrastructure automation solutions using
Terraform and Ansible.
Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure,
or Google Cloud.
Ensure seamless integration between on-premises and cloud-based environments.
Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure
best practices are followed.
Monitor and maintain the performance, availability, and security of
infrastructure.
Automate repetitive tasks to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual
intervention.
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues promptly.
Participate in on-call rotation to support critical production systems.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or
related field.
TS/SCI
3+ years of experience in platform engineering or a similar role.
Proficiency in automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) principles and practices.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
Knowledge of configuration management tools (e.g., Chef, Puppet).
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and related tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect,
Terraform Certification).
In accordance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary
range for these positions is $150,000 to $200,000. However, Altamira
Technologies Corporation considers multiple variables when determining
compensation, including but not limited to, the level of
Responsibilities, Prior Work Experience, Education/certifications,
customer contractual specifications, and any clearance requirements.
