Cloud Platform Engineer – London

Salary: Earn up to £80,000

Hybrid - 2 days a week

An exciting opportunity for a Cloud Platform Engineer to join a forward-thinking organisation driving digital transformation through cutting-edge cloud solutions.

The Role:

As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you will be at the forefront of cloud technology, using automation and software engineering to provision IaaS and PaaS resources, building scalable, secure, and efficient platforms.

You will work within cross-functional teams, following DevSecOps and Agile principles to deliver high-quality cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build cloud platforms for a variety of business needs – from landing zones and Kubernetes to DevSecOps tooling, CRM, ERP, and machine learning.
• Drive cloud migration projects, modernising platforms, applications, and services.
• Implement cloud-native operations tooling for control, observability, and optimisation.
• Enhance cloud service security, networking, and automation.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver cutting-edge solutions.
• Promote best practices in FinOps, SRE, and platform automation.

What We’re Looking For:

• Deep expertise in one or more major cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Strong experience with Terraform, GitHub, Ansible, and other automation tools.
• Proficiency in scripting languages and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes (AKS, GKE, EKS, OpenShift) and DevSecOps tooling.
• Experience with API integration, networking, security, and cloud operations.
• A passion for continuous learning and the ability to educate technical and non-technical teams.
• Ability to work in Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban).
